About Adina
Hi, I’m Adina Green, an occupational therapist who works with young children and their families.
[ADINA: two or three sentences on your training, years of experience and where you practise.]
Why Thrive in Play
Toy shops sort toys by age, but children don’t develop by the calendar. Thrive in Play matches toys to the skills your child is building right now. Every toy comes with a guide: what it’s for, how it helps, and how to play with it as your child grows.
How toys are chosen
Every toy is selected and tagged by an occupational therapist against a development framework drawn from public milestone sources, including the CDC’s Learn the Signs. Act Early. milestones and the WHO motor development milestones. I only recommend toys I would suggest to the families I work with.
Not a substitute for an assessment
The guidance here is general information. If you are worried about your child’s development, speak to your paediatrician or a qualified therapist.
